Volunteer to be a Star in “Dancing With Our Stars” Event!

The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteer stars to participate in 2013 Dancing With Our Stars, a fabulous and fun event for the entire community!

Last year, Dancing With Our Stars showcased the talent of 16 business “stars,” 10 local dance instructors, and brought attention to local businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area and, through the online auction, from around the United States. Hundreds turned out for last year’s amazing performance October 20, 2012.

This year Dancing With Our Stars will be held the evening of Saturday September 21. The community, chamber members, and volunteers all benefit from this great event! “Stars” and their sponsors have the opportunity to promote their business, the professionals have the opportunity to bring attention to their work and studios, the community votes and enjoys the show; all while having fun, bringing the community together, and supporting local programs!

Do you have a hidden desire to dance like “Donald Driver,” the 2012 Dancing with the Stars winner? The chamber is looking for volunteers to help behind the scenes and for “stars” that will be trained by dance professionals to perform a short routine. This is a great way to bring attention and exposure to your business and services.

The Overall Star winner will be based on monetary votes; the star that raises the most money to benefit the chamber and its programs wins. A portion of the proceeds also benefits the Arts in our community. There are several other awards as well: Most Entertaining, Best Costume, and People’s Choice to name a few. This is the perfect opportunity to network with new people, get in shape, have fun and benefit your business and community!

Please join in helping make this event a success! We look forward to meeting and hearing your ideas. The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization whose dedicated business and community partners work toward improving the general welfare in the Central Pasco / Northern Hillsborough area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper.
