“I have had the best experience with Thompson Dental,” said patient Tamara F. “For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!” Thompson Dental at Trinity is celebrating 10 years of helping people just like Tamara have healthy, happy smiles and, best of all, enjoy their dental experience. In fact, Dr. Chris Thompson and his expert, caring staff have impressed so many happy patients who have told their friends and family about their great dental experience, that Thompson Dental is expanding their space and adding another hygienist so that they will be able to serve even more area residents.

“We’re staying in the same location but doubling the size of our office,” said Dr. Thompson. “We hope to be finished by the holidays.”

Comfortable and Caring Dental Care: At Thompson Dental they do everything they can to make sure their patients are comfortable and at ease. Some of the office staff have been here since the beginning and most have been with Thompson Dental for 5 years or more. “The best part of being a dentist is interacting with the patients and helping them smile again,” said Dr. Thompson. “We like to joke around and do everything we can to put our patients at ease. We’ve created a warm and inviting atmosphere at the office to help alleviate any stress people may feel about going to the dentist.”

Stress Free Dental Care: If you do stress out when you think about going to the dentist, Thompson Dental is the place for you. They’ll do everything they can to make sure your experience is one that will leave you smiling. “I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience,” said patient Tammie H. “I love the staff and how friendly they always are plus the comfort that they provide me during my cleanings. I love the TV and massage chair, which is heated by the way.”

Friendly Dental Care: All of the extra touches, like massage chairs, combined with Thompson Dental’s expert knowledge and gentle touch are just a few of the reasons patients continue to come to Thompson Dental. Another is Dr. Thompson’s friendly manner and dedication to educating his patients. “An important part of my job is educating my patients,” said Dr. Thompson. “I never want any of my patients to feel like they have been pressured into having a procedure but instead tell them what needs to be done, what could happen if the issue is left untreated and what the different treatment options are.” Dr. Thompson’s patients appreciate his straightforward and kind approach so much that they even travel from out of the area to visit him. “I have been going to Dr. Thompson for several years now. Dr. Thompson and his staff do a great job,” said patient Joshua S. “I moved from Pasco County to Pinellas about 6 years ago and found it in my best interest to continue with his office in Trinity. It’s nice to see that one of his staff members has been there since my first visit.”

Painless Crown Replacement in Just One Visit: Thompson Dental strives to provide their patients with the latest technology to ease any dental issues quickly and painlessly. One of their most recent additions is the Cerec machine. “The Cerec milling machine allows us to replace crowns in just one appointment,” explains Dr. Thompson. With traditional crown replacement, patients would have to come to an appointment, contend with the yucky impression gook, get an uncomfortable temporary crown and then wait 2 – 3 weeks before they had to come back to get their permanent crown.

Now Thompson Dental can do all of that, minus the impression gook, in one visit in as little 2 hours. The impressive Cerec machine takes a digital impression and then crafts a high-quality and natural-looking crown that can immediately be placed, providing quick relief.

Dental Care for the Whole Family: Thompson Dental sees babies as young as 6 months old all the way up to their great-grandparents. They provide full service dental care for the whole family - everything from general care, cleanings and check-ups to cosmetic dental care including veneers and whitening. They offer expert care for dental emergencies such as crowns, extractions and root canals and can help you feel confident and comfortable if you need dental implants, bridges or dentures.

Dr. Chris Thompson was born and raised in New Port Richey. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Florida State University and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. He is currently serving as the President of the West Pasco Dental Association and has worked with the organization to provide dental care for homeless veterans and underprivileged children.

If you’re looking for kind, caring and friendly dental care; make an appointment with Thompson Dental today.

“Every person in this office is so friendly and outgoing,” said patient Laura R. “I recommend Dr. Thompson to all my friends and family.”
